But Are You Really Sorry

You Will Be...

"But Are You Really Sorry" is a descriptive poetry chapbook blended with introspective, thought-provoking questions to encourage you to take a step back and look at the world with a new perspective.

Too often we view situations as black and white when there's so much grey area if we take the time to look at the big picture. But Are You Really Sorry is the poetry journal that will help you add colour back into your life.

We'll heal together.

Testimonies of The Feared, A West Indian Folklore Poetry Book

Inspired by Ol' Higue by Mark McWatt and the legends of Medusa, this book contains a collection of letters in poetry form each from a different folklore character to humans.

Monsters are feared.

But who are the real monsters?

They Don't Define You

They Don't Deserve You

The book that birthed "But Are You Really Sorry", and the caressing mother that reminds you that you are intricate, unique and infinite.

You are more than your mistakes.

You are more than your scars.

BAYRS was for the people who have hurt others.

TDDY is for you. I know you've been hurt.

You didn't deserve what happened to you.

But you will be okay.

Contemplations in Doubt

Contemplations in Doubt is honestly something I think I needed to write. Every single thought and doubt I ever had about publishing culminated into a diary page, and then... this book happened.

Each poem expresses how my anxiety fuels my reluctance to publish, with the infinite possibilities of "what if"s and what could happen.

CD is the reason I am brave enough to publish my future books. And I have so many in store for you.

Contemplations in Doubt will be out soon! I hope you love it as much as I loved writing it!

Gardening

Gardening follows an outdoorsy cottage-core vibe. Each poem is dedicated to the people, places, and events that have shaped me into the person that I am today.

One part shows the timeline of my education in love, from what I grew up expecting it to be like, learning what I want in a relationship, and the different kinds of love.

It belongs to the Coming Home series. This will be released sometime in 2022!

Renovating

Renovating is about building oneself up. It expatiated on my faith in myself, people and God, on my mental health and personal development. It's also about growth after heartbreak.

It belongs to the Coming Home series. Stay tuned to find out when it'll be released!

Legends of Qayr

"A mother's love will never forget."

Set in a land before colocalization, these fictional First Peoples echo the seductive and corrupting nature of power... and remind us what is left when we have nothing.

Perrenial Love

Flowers have always been my love language.

Over my lifetime, I have observed how my idea of love has shifted with my associations of it with particular flowers.

There is no one perfect flower, as there is no one relationship foundation that will always work, as people are all different.

Although I favoured lilies for most of my life, it turns out... minds can change and my favourite flower was constantly shifting with time as well.
